Bulk Export

WhautoMail allows you to export your contacts, email activity, and suppression records in just a few clicks. Below are simple steps to help you download your data quickly and safely.

📇 Export Email Contacts​

Export your complete list of email contacts for reporting, backup, or migration.

  1. Open the WhautoMail app
  2. Go to the Audience menu on the left side
  3. Click the Contacts submenu
  4. Click the Export All Contacts button to download all contact records as a file

⚠️ Note: Contact export is allowed only once per week to prevent accidental repeated downloads.

📨 Export Email Activity​

Export all email activity logs—such as opened, clicked, bounced, delivered—for analysis and performance tracking.

  1. Open the WhautoMail app
  2. Navigate to the Email Activity menu option
  3. Click the Export All Events button to download your email activity history

⚠️ Note: Email activity export is allowed once per week.

🚫 Export Suppression List​

Export the list of contacts who cannot be emailed because they unsubscribed, bounced, or complained.

  1. Open the WhautoMail app
  2. Go to the Audience menu
  3. Select the Suppressions submenu
  4. Click the Export All button to download all suppression records

⚠️ Note: Suppression export is also limited to once per week.

Export File Formats​

All exports are provided in CSV format with the following columns:

Troubleshooting​

  • Export button disabled?

    • Check if you've already exported data this week
    • Ensure you have the necessary permissions
    • Try refreshing the page

  • File not downloading?

    • Check your browser's download folder
    • Ensure pop-ups are allowed for WhautoMail
    • Try a different browser if the issue persists

Best Practices​

  • Schedule your exports in advance to avoid hitting the weekly limit
  • Store exported files securely as they may contain sensitive information
  • Delete old export files you no longer need
  • Use the API for more frequent data access needs
