Unsubscribe Management

WhautoMail automatically includes an Unsubscribe link in the footer of every email campaign and automation email. This allows recipients to opt out at any time in a compliant and transparent manner.

How Unsubscribes Work​

When a recipient unsubscribes:

  • They are immediately added to the Unsubscriber Suppression list
  • WhautoMail automatically stops sending all future emails (campaigns + automation)
  • No extra setup is required

How to View Unsubscribers​

  1. Open the WhautoMail app
  2. Go to the Audience menu on the left sidebar
  3. Click Suppressions
  4. Click the Unsubscribes tab to view all unsubscribed contacts

Managing Unsubscribers​

Manual Management​

  • You may delete unsubscribers, but only those added manually
  • System-generated unsubscribers cannot be removed to protect compliance and sender reputation

Exporting Unsubscribes​

  • Export the full list once per week

Importing Unsubscribes​

  • Import your existing unsubscribe list using the import tool
  • Note: Bounce and complaint lists cannot be imported
