Contact Custom Fields

Custom Fields help you store additional information about your contacts—such as subscription dates, plan details, customer IDs, preferences, or any data you want to personalize your email campaigns with.

📌 How to Add Custom Fields to a Contact​

  1. Open WhautoMail and go to the Audience menu section
  2. Select the Contacts submenu
  3. Here, you will see your existing contacts
    • If no contacts are available, you can add them manually or import them in bulk
  4. Click the Action icon (⋮) next to the contact you want to update
  5. Select Custom Attributes and click the Add New Attribute button
  6. Enter the Attribute Name — such as:
    • "Subscription Date"
    • "Plan Type"
    • "Customer ID"
  7. Enter the Attribute Value — for example:
    • Subscription Date: 27 Nov 2025
    • Plan Type: Premium
  8. To add more custom fields, simply click Add New Attribute again

💡 Tip: You can use these custom fields inside your emails using personalization variables, making your communication more personalized and relevant.
